Recycled Paper Fundraiser

EPA is Going Green!

Here's how you can help:

Put recyclable paper into the big green and yellow bin at the end of the exit lane by Manchaca Road (in paper bags not plastic). We also earn money for every pound of paper we collect! Heavier paper is better!

More paper = more funds for the school.

Do put these in the bin:

  • Clean paper
  • Junk mail
  • Newspaper (especially)
  • Old schoolwork
  • Magazines (especially)

These items are not allowed:

  • Cardboard
  • Cereal/soda cartons
  • Food wrap/containers
  • Tissue products
  • Phone books
  • Plastic
  • Glass

OtherRecycling efforts at EPA

EPA is working hard to reduce waste and lower our carbon footprint.

  • We brought in washable plastic trays to the cafeteria instead of throwaway foam boxes.
  • At lunchtime, staff and students are learning to separate trash from recyclables.
  • Assembly presentations include information about what is trash and what can go in the recycle bins.
  • Separate blue plastic bins around the school are for recycling plastics and aluminum cans.
  • Middle school students daily empty the paper recycling from each classroom into the large recycling bin outside the school.
  • Wandering River Recycling picks up our plastic and glass recyclables twice a month.
