Eden Park Academy now has a recycle bin!! The bin is located at the exit lane, close to Manchaca Road.

As we help in the Environmental Stewardship Program, we also earn money from the paper that is collected, and the more recyclable paper donated by the community, the more funds we raise.

For every ton of paper recycled:

Gallons of water saved – 7,000

Kwh Electricity saved – 4,102

Pounds of Green Houses Gases avoided – 60

Gallons of oil saved – 390

Cubic Yards of landfill space diverted – 3.3

Fewer Trees needed – 17

Our bin holds up to 2 tons of paper.  We need to fill this twice a month, or it will be removed!!
