We are proud to announce that Eden Park Academy has been approved by TEA to open a second elementary school next year as well as add on PreK-3, PreK-4, and Ninth Grade at our first location on Manchaca Rd. We will add on a grade each year to complete the high school.

The following positions will be open until filled. Teacher candidates will begin working the first week in July. The Elementary Principal, Financial Analyst, and Chief Operations Officer will begin working in the late spring. Please see link for entire announcement.

We will be hiring for next year and will be looking for the special kind of people who become Eden Park employees. To become a member of the EPA team, you need to have a desire to become part of a cutting edge organization, be willing to learn, be a team player, and be willing to give 110%. You must have the ability to communicate effectively, be technology-savvy, and have an in-depth understanding of the position you wish to hold. As at most charter schools, our employees tend to wear many hats, so any expertise you have will help you be a better EPA employee.

When you send your documents to us, be sure to carefully proof them prior to sending. These documents provide us with our first impression of you…and you want to make it a good one! For each position (Principal/Teachers/COO), please provide us with:

1. A transcript
2. A copy of your Texas Teacher Certification
3. A resume with at least 3 references listed with contact information
4. A written response to one of the following questions.

The Financial Analyst should provide all except the teaching certificate. In the subject line of your email with the attached documents, please put the position for which you are interested in applying. Example: Elementary Teacher (EC-6th), MS/HS Math Teacher, etc. Those of you applying for a Middle School/High School teacher position should have a Generalist 6-8 certificate and either a Master Teacher certification in a subject or a Composite certificate in a subject. Our teachers must be able to teach all levels from 6th through 12th for the next 4 years.

Written response questions:
1. How would you effectively impact a classroom of low income students bringing about positive lasting change in their social and academic levels?
2. What do you envision as the perfect school culture to work in?
3. How to plan to communicate with parents and build a relationship with them that will help their child become more successful?
4. What skills do you bring to our organization that will make you a strong candidate for this position?
