Companies contribute to update charter school's aging playground
Amy's Ice Creams and Phil's Ice House joined with RiverKids Pediatric Home Health to donate an upgrade for a playground at Eden Park Academy.
The businesses donated $1,930 to the school. Lisa Robinson, principal of Eden Park Academy, accepted a $965 donation from Steve Simmons of Amy's Ice Creams and Phil's Ice House and $965 from RiverKids Pediatric at a schoolwide assembly.
